BRIDGES

BRIDGES is a consortium of four independent but collaborative Programs enhancing the career development of post-doctoral scholars and early career faculty from diverse backgrounds, including those from groups nationally underrepresented in biomedical and behavioral research, who intend to pursue a research career focused on nutrition, obesity, diabetes, and/or related conditions.

The BRIDGES Consortium is funded by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), the NIH Office of Nutrition Research (ONR), the NIH Office of Disease Prevention (ODP), the NIH Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR), and the NIH Chief Officer for Scientific Workforce Diversity (COSWD) Office.
